Epitopix Sister Company Syntiron Makes News in France

12.2009: Syntiron, a sister company of Epitopix, campus tenant, has granted Sanofi Pasteur an exclusive world-wide license to develop a vaccine for Staphylococcus aureus, against an infection also known as MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus) that can be acquired during a hospital stay.  This technology is based on the Epitopix SRP platform.  Sanofi is based in France, is the largest global pharmaceutical company specializing in human vaccines, and is highly respected in their field.  As an example of their dominance, this company has provided the novel H1N1 vaccine world-wide.
