Our Campus: Where History Meets Technology

Campus Tour | Campus Map | Directions

The Minnwest Technology Campus has a proud history as one of Minnesota's oldest, state owned and operated healthcare facilities. In 2006, the property was purchased from the state by a family of private businesses in Willmar. The transaction was made possible by a ground-breaking collaboration between city, county and state government entities.

There are over 30 majestic buildings on our 100-acre campus. Many of these structures are on the state historic register, with architectural details that continue to be carefully preserved as the building interiors are upgraded to reflect the technology and workflow needs of our cutting-edge tenants.

This unusual combination of history and technology makes MinnWest one of the most picturesque, unique business communities in the country. The manicured lawns, majestic buildings, mature trees and lakeside views provide a setting that is unmatched by other technology parks. The collaborative atmosphere, cutting edge infrastructure and community of like-minded tenants provides an opportunity for innovation and growth that would simply not be possible in isolation.
