where innovation meets collaboration
The MinnWest Technology Campus was born out of a strong desire to innovate and a collective spirit of collaboration. In fact, these two qualities have come to define our past and shape our future. Our purpose is to create a place where innovation and collaboration meet to help businesses break new ground, set new standards and reach new heights of personal and professional success.
The mission of MinnWest Technology Campus is to promote the advancement, nurture the environment and accommodate the functions of a thriving biosciences and technology community in the Greater Willmar Lakes Area. We realize this through our partnership with business, education, government and other organizations. The Campus will carry out its mission by developing programs, initiatives and facilities that lead to the creation of new jobs, companies and investment in the region. This will result in enhanced economic development opportunities for those who are directly and indirectly involved in the Campus and its activities.
The vision of the MinnWest Technology Campus is to be a world-class location for companies to grow and collaborate for the advancement of science and technology. MinnWest Technology Campus is playing a part in shaping the future of this area, country and our world. We will achieve global recognition by offering the world a place from where services and products are marketed that impact lives everywhere.

Purchasing the Campus
In 2006, the 100-acre property, which is now called the MinnWest Technology Campus, was purchased from the state of Minnesota by this family of private technology and bioscience businesses in Willmar. The transaction was made possible by a groundbreaking collaboration between city, county and state government entities.
